  • Are Lumé products organic?
    All of our ingredients we use to make our products are certified organic. We only source our products from companies with the highest integrity and that meet our standards. Chemical and toxin free ingredients are top priority to us. We are what we eat, and we are what we wear.
  • Why choose organic plant-based products vs conventional beauty/health products?
    Plants are adaptive, meaning they help each person individually, and are highly recognized in our body. By being so well absorbed, they are able to repair, nourish and balance at the cellular level; therefore allowing the skin to reach its true potential. Conventional products, however, use many chemicals and synthetic forms that are not recognizable to our cells and can cause damage to our skin’s barrier, kill healthy bacteria and disrupt our pH. In addition, they tend to be a one dimensional, symptom focused products.
  • How do I know which product is best for my skin type?
    All of our products are formulated to be paired with all skin types, however, if you are still concerned about something, contact us at info@lumeinfusions.com and we will clarify your questions or concerns.
  • How long will it take for my skin to get used to Lumé?
    It can take up to 2-4 weeks for the skin to adjust to any new products. If you have never used oil, plant-based products before, then there may be an adjustment period which is completely normal. In order for plants to repair, they must first detox and purify. This process may bring impurities to surface. Leaving the Detox Cleanser on longer, as well as increasing Daily Glow, will expedite the purifying process. It’s definitely the least favorite part of the healing process, but worth every second. Once the impurities are removed, the repairing and revitalizing process may begin.
  • If I have oily skin, can I use Lumé oils?"
    Absolutely!! When we strip our skin with soap or harsh products, it overproduces oil to make up for what has been lost —often leading to a vicious cycle of dry and oily. Skin will become more oily when the pH in your skin is off balance. Using the right oils can help balance, hydrate and prevent the oil glands from becoming too overactive. It’s very important to start the day nourishing your skin with healthy oils so it's satisfied, calm and balanced. And remember, oil dissolves oils!
  • How long should I leave the Detox Cleanser on for?
    The Detox Cleanser is powerful, yet incredibly gentle. You can leave it on for hours, but it’s important to listen to your skin. We highly recommend a good 20 minute cleanse, just like you would treat a mask. For great detoxing results, take a gentle muslin cloth or cotton towel, fill with hot water and then squeeze out. Apply the steamy cloth gently to your face, pulling all the impurities to the surface. Of course, a quick 2-5 minute cleanse works great too, as well as a simple rinse in the shower. Overtime, you will see what your skin responds to best. Each person’s beauty routine is different and the plants will communicate with you.
  • Is it okay to mix the Inner Glow products?
    Absolutely! All herbs selected for Lumé Infusions blend well together. In fact, the best way to start the day is the put them all in a glass of water and drink on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. This allows them to go directly into the blood stream and have faster results. Beverly usually enjoys the herbs before lunch too, a perfect way to set the rest of the day up for success. You will always see her with a vitamin water in the mornings so she's prepared when for the day. Staying strong and nourished is a huge part of achieving great health. But with anything, always listen to your body and do what works best for you.
  • Why doesn’t my Vitamin C Radiance completely dissolve when I mix it?
    Unlike artificial and synthetic made supplements, this product consists of only dehydrated plant based products without any additives. Our blend has zero fillers, binders or additives. The Vitamin C Radiance is great for your health, just needs a little extra love with stirring when added to juice or water.
  • What is the best way to store my Lumé products?
    To maximize the shelf life of the product, store them in a cool dry place and away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. Inner Glow products can be stored in the refrigerator for longer shelf life but is not required.
  • Is it normal for the products color to vary from bottle to bottle?
    Yes, because all of our products are plant-based without the use of artificial colors so there may be small variations in color.
  • Do the Lumé products expire?
    Our products are made in small batches without artificial preservatives. They have been tested and will last over 1 year from the date it was made. Our products are guaranteed for 9 months from when you receive it. Most products will last much longer especially if it is stored well (with minimal light).
  • Can I use Lumé while I’m pregnant?
    Outer Glow products use only organic non-toxic ingredients. There are products in the Inner Glow line that contain small amounts of organic alcohol for medicinal purposes. As with any product, please check with your doctor if you are pregnant or nursing before using. For any questions on how to use the product email us at info@lumeinfusions.com.
  • Can I return the product if my skin isn't adjusting to it?
    We offer a full refund for online orders purchased within 30 days. Please email us at info@lumeinfusions.com. We can replace your product or issue a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Once your return is received, we will process your refund.
